Neurodiversity, ADHD & Autism

Support and therapy for people whose nervous systems work differently.

Maybe you've always felt like you're working harder than everyone else just to keep up. Maybe you've been told you're "too sensitive," "too much," or "not trying hard enough" when you know that's not the whole picture. Or maybe you've recently started wondering whether the way your brain works has a name.

However you got here, you're welcome. Joseph works with adults who are autistic, have ADHD, or are otherwise neurodivergent, and he takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach. That means seeing neurological differences as natural human variation, not as deficits to be fixed.

What brings people here

There's no single reason and no wrong reason. Some of the things people bring to this work:

Many adults discover they are neurodivergent later in life. Whether you have a formal diagnosis, are exploring the possibility, or simply recognise that your brain works differently, you're welcome here. There's no prerequisite; just a willingness to look at what's going on.

How this work looks

Therapy here isn't about learning to mask better or forcing yourself into neurotypical patterns. It's about understanding how your mind works, finding what supports you, and building a life that actually fits. Joseph works collaboratively; you know your experience better than anyone, and that knowledge is the starting point.

Common threads in this work include sensory needs, executive function, burnout and recovery, social connection, identity, and the emotional weight of years spent trying to fit a mould that wasn't designed for you.

Sessions are conducted online via secure video. Available for clients in Wisconsin, USA and internationally.
